THE TORNADO RAINHEAD COMPANY was established in 2005 to develop an environmentally friendly new concept in keeping guttering clean and free of leaves and debris.
THE TORNADO RAINHEAD is a unique and environmentally friendly innovative new product designed by Garry Ewen, a registered master plumber and tradesman for more than 30 years. Frequently encountering blocked and rusted guttering and flooded eaves and ceilings, Garry decided it was time to design and prove his theory of getting rain water to flow fast and clean guttering "like a tornado". The unique conical design of the Tornado Rainhead is the result. Extensive testing has proved its performance and it is now the only rain head in Australia to be approved and certified by NATA. (The recognized worldwide National Association Testing Authority).
TWO DESIGNS HAVE BEEN DEVELOPED:
THE TORNADO INLINE RAINHEAD: This model has been designed to flush domestic or commercial guttering, stop flooding and overflowing, and reduce blockages. Its unique conical design is manufactured from one piece of 4mm thickness UV treated polypropylene that will never rust or corrode. It's easy to install and can be retrofitted to any house or commercial guttering system in Australia, or in most other parts of the world.
THE TORNADO COMMERCIAL RAINHEAD: This design consists of three models all of which have been designed to flush clean commercial or industrial box guttering systems, stop flooding and overflowing, and reduce blockages.
The TORNADO MICRO model has been designed to suit box guttering up to 380mm wide with a 100mm down pipe.
The TORNADO 100 model suits box gutter over 380mm wide with 100mm down pipe.
The TORNADO 150 model suits box gutter over 380mm wide with 150mm down pipe.
The commercial range is similarly manufactured from one piece of 4mm thickness UV treated polypropylene that will never rust or corrode.
The Tornado patented conical Vortex system flushes gutters at over 5 times the rate of a conventional rain head. It's easy to install, and can be retrofitted to existing guttering systems and painted to match, or incorporated into new homes or building structures as required.
All models are manufactured from UV treated polypropylene that will never rust or corrode; they can be left unpainted or painted to match existing decor with most popular coatings.
